Day 2
Integrative Therapy – A mind-body systems approach to trauma

Learning Objectives
1. Participants will learn the causes, theoretical, and practical history of, and ways of diagnosing Reactive Attachment Disorder and other traumatic breaks in attachment.
2. Participants will learn about current brain research specific to the link between emotional trauma and behaviors associated with disruptions in attachment
3. Participants will learn how to integrate complementary therapies, as per the model of Synergistic Trauma and Attachment Therapy (STAT TM pending)

Day 1: The Etchings of Trauma – The history, theory and profile of the traumatized brain
• Etchings in the brain – the ways in which trauma impacts brain development and behavior with Lark Eshleman, Ph.D.
• RAD and Trauma: Differential diagnosis with John Tardibuono, Ed.D.
• How a healthy attachment figure supports trauma healing. An introduction to STAT(™ pending) with Lark Eshleman, Ph.D.
• Integrating Neurofeedback into the STAT (™ pending) model of treatment with Bob Patterson, PT
• Family Therapy and attachment traumas with Kate Langhart, LCSW

Day 2: Integrative Therapy – A mind-body systems approach to trauma
• Introduction to the Brain-Body Connection Education, The Power of Breathing with Kris Kennedy, MA, CMT.
• Heart Rate Coherence, Emotional Freedom Technique (Demo & Participation) Bilateral Stimulation or Parent and Child Effective Integration and Acupressure Points with Kris Kennedy, MA, CMT and Laura Miller, LSW,
• Bodywork Integration, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Mechanical Link with Kris Kennedy, MA, CMT
• Neuro Emotional Technique, Energy Psychology with Kris Kennedy, MA, CMT
